Even if you are not Canadian, but you want to know the true history of the Indian Residential School system in Canada you can use Project of Heart.<\/p>\n<p>These are some of the people and groups that have told us that Project of Heart is for them:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>teachers who want to know the truth and to inspire their own students to seek truth and take positive action in our society<\/li>\n<li>college and university classes<\/li>\n<li>families who want to become more aware, respectful and engaged neighbors and community members<\/li>\n<li>faith and church groups that want to acknowledge the wrongs of the past and build a better future<\/li>\n<li>intergenerational survivors who want to learn more about the history that has brought them, their families and communities to the legacy that they are dealing with today<\/li>\n<li>court workers, corrections workers and law enforcement personnel who want to better understand and support the people that they serve<\/li>\n<li>ANYONE who wants to know the TRUTH behind the reality that Aboriginal people are faced with today and to work together to MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a name=\"french\"><\/a><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2098\" title=\"french-sep\" src=\"http:\/\/projectofheart.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/01\/french-sep.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"568\" height=\"21\" \/><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"entry-title\">Qui peut y participer?<\/h1>\n<p>Que vous soyez canadien ou non, le Projet du C\u0153ur s\u2019adresse \u00e0 vous : il suffit de vouloir en savoir plus sur l\u2019histoire des pensionnats autochtones au Canada. Les personnes et les groupes suivants ont particip\u00e9 au Projet du C\u0153ur:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>des enseignants voulant accompagner leurs \u00e9l\u00e8ves dans la recherche de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et dans la prise d\u2019actions positives pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ;<\/li>\n<li>des groupes universitaires et coll\u00e9giaux ;<\/li>\n<li>des familles voulant devenir des membres plus consciencieux, respectueux et engag\u00e9s de la communaut\u00e9;<\/li>\n<li>des groupes confessionnels et religieux voulant reconna\u00eetre les torts du pass\u00e9 et construire un meilleur avenir ;<\/li>\n<li>des survivants interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnels de pensionnat d\u00e9sirant en apprendre davantage sur cette \u00e9poque qui a tant marqu\u00e9 leur vie et celle de leurs familles et de leurs communaut\u00e9s ;<\/li>\n<li>des employ\u00e9(e)s de la gendarmerie, des tribunaux et des services correctionnels cherchant \u00e0 mieux comprendre et \u00e0 soutenir les personnes auxquelles ils fournissent des services ;<\/li>\n<li>toute personne voulant obtenir une meilleure compr\u00e9hension des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s autochtones et poser des gestes concrets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2098\" title=\"french-sep\" src=\"http:\/\/projectofheart.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/01\/french-sep.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"568\" height=\"21\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you are a Canadian Project of Heart is for you.
